Trainee in Early Childhood Education and Care - Inner West

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic learner who is excited about starting a career in Early Childhood Education and Care.

The position would involve working full time and studying towards your Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services over the course of a year. The trainer will guide you and come to visit you at the centre.

As part of the traineeship, you will have access to 3 hours of study time (off the floor) per week within your roster. Your role would involve working across all the rooms with children between the ages of 0-5 years to support their learning and development. You will learn about and experience all facets of working with young children in a long day care setting, and will gain great knowledge and insight from being part of our team.

As one of our Educators, you would need to work effectively with our team to ensure the smooth operation of the centre and contribute to high quality practices for children, staff and families.

A passion for learning and a hands on enthusiastic approach is what we are looking for in a potential new employee. You must also be an independent learner and be able to manage your studies in your own time.

Please note that this position is for a non-trained applicant ready to study/work in a traineeship capacity. No other previous experience is necessary. Applicants need to have Permanent Residency.

Salary: From $16.00 per hour (depending on your age, experience and recent qualifications (Year 10/Year 12)
