About the facility

Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong's CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.

About the role

The Project Officer is responsible for delivering the partnerships for the Culturally Safe Cancer Care Project in partnership with the Wathaurong Aboriginal Cooperative. This project aims to improve access to culturally appropriate cancer care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people attending Barwon Health, Colac Area Health and Great Ocean Road Health. Both Barwon Health and Wathaurong will recruit project officers to engage with community and key stakeholdersm and to deliver all aspects of this project.
