SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

The Role:

Mammoet Australia is on the lookout for an experienced Accounts Officer to join our Finance Team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of a global leader in heavy lifting and transport solutions.

You'll play an integral role in managing the day-to-day financial operations of the business working closely with the Financial Controller. You'll also collaborate with project and site teams to ensure the smooth, timely, and accurate handling of financial processes.

This role represents a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to develop their financial skills within a large global organisation.

The role will be based in our Henderson office within Perth on a Full-Time Monday-Friday basis, with flexible working hours options.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Assisting with month end close, journal entries and monthly reconciliations
  • Performing bank reconciliations and uploads
  • Managing and processing credit card transactions
  • Processing employee expense claims
  • Raising internal group and external invoices
  • Preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS) returns
  • Supporting internal and external audit activities
  • Performing general administrative and accounts-related duties as needed

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Previous experience working in similar role
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel
  • Experience working within an ERP accounting system (SAP experience highly regarded)
  • A proactive and positive attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and high accuracy
  • The ability to show initiative and work independently
