Technology Architects (Cloud Architects)

  • 12 months contract, 2x12 months ext. options
  • Location – ACT, QLD, VIC - Onsite
  • Australian Citizens with NV1 Clearance

Infinite Consulting is seeking experienced Technology Architects (Cloud Architects) for our esteemed Federal Government Client. This is a 12 months contract with 2x12 months extension options possible further, based on funding and approval

About the role:

You will be an experienced Technology Architect with deep experience in commercial cloud technologies to work in cross-functional teams to deliver an enterprise hybrid cloud environment.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop the target design, policies and standards, for a broad range of business use cases, ensuring consistency of design across the enterprise, and facilitating endorsement by the appropriate Design Authority.
  • Drive cloud architecture at a strategic level across all lines of business, specifically toward self-service cloud adoption/migration.
  • Architect solutions that deliver to the Government security standards.
  • Review internal and externally developed architecture and design artefacts to ensure consistency with enterprise designs, policies and standards.
  • Advise Program Management and Design Authorities on technical risks and mitigations.

Essential Criteria:

Have appropriate skills to provide all levels of architectural support, including platform (AWS, Azure, private and hybrid) and business solution advice to assist in delivering outcomes. Technical skills required are:

  • Understand & demonstrate application of current architectural frameworks, design patterns, standards & techniques.
  • Extensive experience as a solution architect in medium-large organisations, with demonstrated coverage of a range of architecture deliverables.
  • Extensive experience in architecting & deploying cloud-based architectures and roadmaps.
  • Experience in system design & complex design documentation.
  • Knowledge of Australian Government security standards.

Duration: 12 months initial contract

Clearance: Australian Citizens with current NV1 Clearance
