ABOUT THE ROLE
Play a vital role in keeping our operations running safely and efficiently by leading the execution of coal clearance electrical maintenance at Appin Mine. You will ensure safe and effective execution of maintenance plans, resolve conflicts, and contribute to performance improvement across the operation.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
- Developing and executing 2–5 week, weekly & daily maintenance plans
- Planning and coordinating major belt works and maintenance day activities
- Managing work orders, materials & contractors through SAP and Supply functions
- Supporting area performance improvements and implementing corrective actions
- Compiling daily plans, reports & contributing to reviews and KPIs
ABOUT YOU
You are a skilled coordinator with strong electrical expertise and the ability to deliver structured plans in a mining environment. With a proactive approach to safety and collaboration, you excel at problem solving and building effective relationships across multiple teams.
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Planning and executing electrical maintenance in mining operations
- Coordinating teams, contractors & resources effectively
- Analysing performance data & implementing improvement actions
- Communicating & influencing across diverse operational stakeholders
Qualifications, skills, and competencies:
- Degree, Associate Diploma or Trade Certificate in Electrical Engineering/Trade
- Minimum 3 years' underground coal mining experience
- Strong planning, scheduling & organisational capability
- Effective communication & problem-solving skills across all levels
