THE POSITION

SIX8 Australia are seeking applications from Experienced, Ticketed Civil Operators to join our team in Rockhampton QLD.

  • 5 Day Work Weeks
  • IMMEDIATE START

Reporting to the Project Manager and/or Site Supervisor, these positions will provide effective hands-on supervision of the project workforce to deliver contracted works in accordance with the client program. This role will be responsible for effective management of workers including subcontractors, planning and monitoring daily schedule of work, regular communication with site leadership and other stakeholders, encouraging a positive safety culture, and ensuring quality, safety, and environmental systems are met.

To be successful in the role:

  • Extensive experience in civil construction projects

  • Knowledge of the civil construction industry

  • Bulk & Detailed Earthworks

  • Road & Pavement Construction
  • Stormwater & Pipe laying

  • Minor Concreting works

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings

  • Able to identify, analyse and solve technical problems
  • Qualification / training in Civil Operations
  • Current Queensland Open Drivers Licence
  • General Construction Induction (white card)

Requirements:

  • HR Licence (minimum)

  • Relevant Earthmoving Equipment Tickets, including

  • Excavator Tickets

  • Grader Tickets
  • Skid Steer Tickets
