About The Senior Property Manager Role
We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced
Senior Property Manager
to join our Customers Services team at SGCH. Joining this SGCH first, project in Box Hill, Victoria, you will lead the high-quality management of tenancy and housing assets located in Victoria. This is a permanent, full-time role and reports to the Head of Service Outcomes and Improvement.

This role will manage the end-to-end asset and tenancy management including working with different stakeholders such as owner's corporation, building managers, local support services, senior management and contractors to ensure effective communication, completion of tasks to meet program key performance indicators to ensure high standards of property condition and renter satisfaction. This role will also be a key driver to lead setup of reporting, strategic marketing efforts, partnerships and community outreach programs. Saturday work may be required from time-to-time for business needs including inspections.

About You (essential Requirements)
To succeed in the role, you will have the below key attributes:

  • Proven background in tenancy and/or property management, ideally within community housing, affordable housing or real estate
  • Tertiary qualifications in property, asset management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Current Victorian Estate Agent's Licence (or interstate equivalent via mutual recognition)
  • Strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act 1997 (VIC), with proven VCAT experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end tenancy and property management functions
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and sustain strong partnerships
  • Community engagement skills and the ability to develop support pathways for vulnerable renters
  • Confident decision-making skills and the ability to represent SGCH as the lead contact in Victoria
  • A current Victorian driver's licence and willingness to work occasional Saturdays.
