About the Role

We are seeking qualified CNC Machinists to join our skilled machining team. Working across a range of medium to large milling machines, you will manufacture and machine precision components from drawings using a variety of materials.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on challenging and diverse machining tasks within heavy industry environments, supporting critical equipment and large-scale industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of manual and CNC milling machines
• Manufacture components to specification from engineering drawings
• Machine a wide range of materials to high precision and tolerances
• Conduct quality checks and maintain dimensional accuracy
• Work safely and maintain a clean and organised work area
• Support workshop activities and assist with job planning as required
• Contribute to continuous improvement and efficient machine operation

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Relevant Metal Fabrication or similar AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV, or at least three years of relevant experience in lieu of a formal qualification
• Experience working in machine workshops (Australia or overseas)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
• Experience operating manual and CNC milling machines
• Heavy engineering machining experience (highly regarded)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Willingness to work overtime when required
• Desire to develop skills and grow within the business
