About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Tool Maker to join our dynamic and growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing, maintaining, and repairing tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in production. You will work closely with engineers and production staff to ensure all tooling meets quality and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture, repair, and modify precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
- Operate manual and CNC machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Conduct tool inspections and ensure all components meet required tolerances.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives in tooling and production processes.
- Maintain safe work practices and comply with all WHS policies and procedures.
Skills & Experience
- Trade qualification in Tool Making or equivalent.
- Proven experience in toolmaking or precision machining.
- Strong understanding of CNC and conventional machining operations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with high attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $33.00 – $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

- Adelaide SA 5000: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
