We are currently seeking experienced a Production and Cam Technician based in Royal Park

Our client is an Australian owned company who have been manufacturing agricultural driveline equipment for the past 60 years. They specialise in power train products and light to medium industrial plant and equipment including R&D, engineering, manufacture, domestic and international distribution and continuous improvement

The Production & Cam Technician works with the Production Supervisor to ensure the efficient operation of all CNC machining activities at the Royal Park facility. The positions main duties and responsibilities include
- Comply with the requirements of the South Australian Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation and related responsibilities and procedures developed by the organisation.
- Ensure compliance with the organisation's integrated system (IMS), policies, procedures and other related legislative requirements
- Program CNC machines using computer modelling software
- Set up CNC machines for operation
- Validation of product quality Operate CNC machinery as required
- Operate CNC machinery as required
- Review CNC processes to maximise efficiency
- Participate in established continuous improvement activities

**Essential requirements**
- Qualified machinist (certificate 3)
- Minimum 5 years experience operating and programming CNC machinery with advanced skills
- 5 Axis machining experience highly regarded
- Okuma CNC programming experience highly regarded
- Master Cam software experience highly regarded
- Safety conscious

**In addition to the above, you must be able to**:

- Pass a full pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
- Have reliable transport
- Be able to work Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm
- Problem solve with mínimal direction
- Learn quickly and have excellent attention to detail
