Irrigation Australia is the national voice for the irrigation industry. We provide training, certification, and leadership to support efficient and sustainable water management across urban, agricultural, and environmental sectors.


About the Role

The Waterwise and Certification Programs Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support and coordination across two crucial areas of the business: the Waterwise Program and Irrigation Australia's Certification Program.

The role ensures effective communication with stakeholders, timely processing of certification applications and renewals, and the delivery of high-quality service to program participants, sponsors, and partners.


Key Responsibilities

Waterwise Program Support

  • Coordinate program communications with participants, sponsors, and key stakeholders
  • Manage applications and renewals for the Waterwise Program.
  • Maintain accurate records and data reporting in line with program requirements.
  • Support delivery of the bi-annual Waterwise Expo and related marketing initiatives.
  • Liaise with regional committees and provide administrative support.

Certification Program Administration

  • Process applications, renewals, and enquiries for certification programs.
  • Maintain candidate records, certification statuses, and expiry notifications.
  • Coordinate CPD (Continuing Professional Development) submissions and tracking.
  • Assist with exam scheduling, credential updates, and reporting.

Stakeholder Support

  • Provide professional, timely responses to enquiries from members, applicants, and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure positive and supportive service to all program participants.
  • Liaise with assessors, trainers, sponsors, and committees as needed.

Administration and Systems

  • Maintain program databases and CRM systems.
  • Prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of program workflows and member engagement.

About You

You are efficient, dependable, and have a strong commitment to customer service. You bring:

  • Minimum 2–3 years' experience in administration, customer service, or program coordination.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional communication skills — written and verbal.
  • Experience using CRM systems or member portals (desirable).
  • Knowledge or experience in the Western Australian sectors will be considered an advantage (desirable)
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
