A leading financial services provider is seeking a Principal Architect with proven experience designing new platforms to join their multi-year technology transformation program on an initial nine month contract (with strong potential of extension).

Joining a supportive architecture team, you will be responsible for architecting and delivering a new testing platform for the transformation program. You will embed yourself within the project team to design testing environments, automate processes across multiple tools and platforms, and ensure the right test data is available when required. You will also contribute to the wider architecture domain, guiding project delivery and participating in governance and architecture forums.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Strong experience working as a Solution/Principal Architect within large, complex environments.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering new platforms, with exposure to testing platforms or environments highly regarded.
  • Good knowledge of DevOps principles, pipelines, and automation.
  • Demonstrated experience working in regulated environments with strong governance, audit and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to consult, influence and drive decision-making across project and architecture teams.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.

This is a Sydney-based role which will require you to be in the office at least three days per week, with Wednesday as the anchor day.
