Do Work that Matters 

As our Principal Solution Architect, you'll reimagine digital experiences for Business Banking customers leveraging next-generation technologies and frameworks to deliver seamless, secure, and scalable solutions.

You'll define technical solutions for Business Banking Technology, partnering with Enterprise Architecture and Engineering to ensure alignment with the Group Technology Strategy and our customer-focused goals.

As a Principal Solution Architect, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and implementing digital solutions that enhance our services. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create robust, scalable architectures that drive our digital transformation.

We are seeking people who have:

  • Proven experience as a Principal Architect in banking or financial services

  • Leading architectural design and strategy for digital initiatives

  • Provides solution oversight and governance on major programs

  • Translating business needs into technical solutions through stakeholder engagement

  • Mentoring and guiding architects and developers.

  • Technically sound in Security by Design principles as applied to digital applications

  • Strong expertise in digital banking platforms

  • Delivers high-performance, secure, and integrated solutions.

  • Applies Security by Design principles

  • Drives digital transformation and continuous improvement

  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences

Tech Skills 

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We do not expect you to know them all, but, experience or exposure with some of these, or a willingness to learn these skillsets (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team 

  • .NET technology & Typescript )

  • Architecture patterns

  • API-based integration

  • Event-based integration

  • Current state-of-the-art front-end development frameworks

  • Industry standard architecture frameworks
