The Role:

We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Maintenance Apprentice to join our team at our Altona Service Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and develop the skills needed to become a qualified Maintenance Fitter.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist with maintenance and repairs on plant and equipment under supervision
  • Learn to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Participate in preventative maintenance activities
  • Support exciting projects and equipment upgrades
  • Follow all safety procedures and CHEP standards
  • Engage in on-the-job and off-site training as part of your apprenticeship

What We're Looking For:

  • A genuine interest in mechanical systems and hands-on work
  • A strong commitment to safety and learning
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Completion of Year 10 (minimum)
  • Willingness to undertake a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade
  • A keen interest or passion in Automation and New Technologies (AI)
