About the role

The Analyst, Service Provider Risk plays a key role in implementing Cbus' Service Provider Risk Framework within the Operations division's first line Risk and Compliance team. You will contribute to shaping and executing the fund-wide strategy to ensure service provider risks are consistently identified, assessed and managed.

The role supports business owners to assess key service provider risks and conduct due diligence prior to Service Provider onboarding and is responsible for governance, risk assessment, compliance oversight, assurance activities, and communication and training to key stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities

• Support the development and continuous improvement of the Service Provider Risk Framework and policy to align with enterprise risk standards
• Conduct due diligence and evaluate service provider controls to identify risks, and support business owners in improving risk profiles
• Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements, assist with implementation changes and coordinate response to reviews and audits
• Review service provider reporting and controls, and provide feedback for continuous improvement and internal control accuracy
• Prepare risk dashboards and updates, assist the delivery of training and build collaborative relationships across business and risk teams
• Liaise with business owners to provide updates on service provider risk assessment results and answer Service Provider Framework related questions

What will you bring?

• Experience in a similar Operational Risk Analyst role ideally in Superannuation, Financial Services, Professional Services or a similar industry
• Tertiary qualifications in business, risk management or related field
• Knowledge of CPS 230, supplier management, third party risk, vendor liaison and organisational readiness for regulatory changes
• Strong understanding of superannuation business processes, systems, risks and controls
• Commercially astute with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Skilled in building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships with effective verbal and written communication skills
