Description:

As the Food & Beverage Manager at Daydream Island Resort, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation and exceptional service delivery of our food and beverage outlets.

About the Role

  • Oversee daily operations across all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, staff canteen and events
  • Develop and implement stratagies to enhance the guest dining experience and drive service excellence
  • Manage inventory, ordering and cost controls to meet financial and operational targets.
  • Recruit, train and mentor food and beverage team members to deliver consistent high quality service
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards
  • Collaborate with other department heads to plan and execute events, promotions and special functions
  • Analyse financial performance to inform decisions that support profitability and guest satisfaction

Skills and Experiences:

About You

  • Proven experience as a Food & Beverage Manager or similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of food and beverage operations
  • Inspirational leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong focus on guest satisfaction and service quality
  • Sound understanding of budgeting, financial management, and cost control
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations
  • Flexibility to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
