With our commitment to innovation, we continue to push the boundaries of the playground industry. Join us as we shape the future of play and create lasting memories for children of all ages.
The Role
This is not your standard project manager role. Think landscaper meets hands-on delivery. You'll work closely with our production team, subcontractors, and customers to bring each project to life — from installation to landscaping and finishing touches.
You'll be out on-site, solving problems, rolling up your sleeves, and making sure every playground reflects the quality and creativity we're known for. You'll also partner with our project admin team, who will support you with logistics, paperwork, and scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery and installation of playground equipment.
- Source, engage, and manage subcontractors for site works, landscaping, and other needs.
- Conduct site visits to ensure quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Carry out hands-on installation and site work when required.
- Coordinate closely with the project admin team to ensure smooth logistics and timelines.
- Be the face of the business on-site — building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with WHS requirements.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, keeping them on time and within scope.
- We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, and who gets a kick out of seeing a project come to life in the real world.
You'll have:
- Background in landscape architecture, landscaping, or similar field.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects.
- Practical problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Confidence in using computers and project management tools.
- Experience with WHS in a construction or landscaping setting.
- The ability to build trust and rapport with customers and subcontractors alike.
Why Join Us
- Be part of a growing, national business making a meaningful impact through play
- Work with a down-to-earth, collaborative team that values initiative and contribution
- Learn and grow alongside experienced leaders who want you to succeed
- Employee benefits including wellbeing support, team lunches, and recognition programs
This role is full-time and based in Blacktown. You must have full working rights in Australia to apply.
We appreciate all the applications we receive and thank you for your interest in PlayCo. Due to the high number of applications we receive, only successful candidates will be contacted.
