We're looking for a confident operator to join our tight-knit team in Alexandria/St Peters. You'll spend your days in the seat of a
Material Handler
and
Forklift
, helping to sort and process scrap metal in a safe, well-run yard. No two days are the same and you'll be making a real impact in a company that values sustainability and solid teamwork.
Hours of Work
- Monday to Friday: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (standard hours)
- Every second Saturday (overtime rates apply)
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Load & unload trucks, skip bins and trailers
- Operate equipment, including forklift and Material Handler
- Ensure customers receive a high level of service
- Grading and sorting materials (on-site training provided)
- Demonstrating personal responsibility for and commitment to OH&S policies and procedures
To Be Successful in This Opportunity, You Will Have
- Forklift (LF) license/ticket
- Forklift & Material Handler / Excavator experience
- Ability to work independently
- A can-do attitude and willingness to undertake training to diversify your skills
- Excellent attendance, reliability, and attention to detail
