About the role

Armidale Regional Council is seeking an
RMCC & Regional Roads Coordinator
to oversee road maintenance, capital works, and the Transport for NSW RMCC contract.

This position involves managing budgets, ensuring compliance, and guiding a skilled team committed to delivering safe, high-quality infrastructure outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and mentoring to a skilled team across roads, drainage, and civil works
  • Manage and enhance the delivery of infrastructure programs for high-quality results
  • Oversee complex infrastructure projects from planning through completion
  • Ensure all projects meet safety, sustainability, and compliance requirements
  • Manage budgets, contracts, and stakeholder relationships effectively

What you bring

  • Degree-qualified Engineer with 5+ years of experience in civil construction or road maintenance
  • Strong leadership ability and proven project management skills
  • Experience working with roads, bridges, and drainage infrastructure
  • NSW Construction Induction White Card and a current driver's licence
  • (Preferred)
    RMCC contract experience, project management qualifications, and WHS knowledge
