What You Will Do

  • Manage the purchasing, storage and distribution strategies of products.
  • Maintain optimal stock level to reduce costs and ensure availability.
  • Negotiate contracts with our suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
  • Manage inventory and warehouse systems to ensure the supply and stock levels are operational.
  • Operate recording systems to track the movement of supplies ensuring timely re-ordering and re-stocking.
  • Liaise with internal departments and customers regarding requirements for outbound goods and transportation logistics.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse and logistics staff, monitoring performance and ensuring targets are met.
  • Analyse supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.

What You Should Have

  • Proven experience in supply chain, logistics, or distribution management.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of inventory control systems and distribution processes.
  • Solid understanding of purchasing and stock management principles.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
