Our client based in Coburg is seeking a dedicated Second in Charge (2IC) to join their leadership team and help bring their vision for high-quality education and care to life.

As the 2IC, you will work closely with the Centre Director to:

  • Support the daily operations of the service, ensuring the highest standards of compliance, quality, and care.
  • Mentor and motivate a team of curious, reflective educators, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth.
  • Build strong relationships with children and families, encouraging their voices in our curriculum.
  • Champion play-based learning experiences informed by the latest research and evidence.
  • Promote an environment that values kindness, respect, sustainability, and connection with the natural world.

What we're looking for:

  • A qualified Diploma-qualified educator with leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
  • A leader who is approachable, organised, and passionate about nurturing both children and educators.
  • Someone who shares our commitment to creating a space where every child feels a sense of belonging, agency, and joy in learning.
