As a Self-Storage Assistant, you'll play a key part in the day-to-day operations of our storage facilities. This is a varied role combining customer service, site maintenance, and operational duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with enquiries, unit viewings, and move-ins/move-outs
  • Operate forklift for moving and positioning goods cage safely and efficiently
  • Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and presentation of all facilities
  • Perform regular site checks and lock audits
  • Process payments, prepare rental agreements, and update customer records
  • Provide basic maintenance and minor repairs around the site
  • Ensure compliance with OH&S procedures and company policies
  • Support the team with general administrative tasks and reporting

About You

  • Must hold a current forklift license (LF)
  • Current driver's license and own reliable transport
  • Previous experience in self-storage, warehousing, or customer service preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual handling duties
