About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Dental Receptionist to join our friendly team at All About Teeth in Townsville. As a key member of our healthcare practice, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our dental clinic. This is a Casual position with full time hours, early starts but only working 4 days a week, no weekend work.
What you'll be doing
- Managing the reception area and greeting patients in a warm and professional manner
- Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments in our booking system
- Handling and processing patient payments, private health claims and other financial transactions
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and files
- Providing general administrative support to the dental team as required
- Promoting positive patient experiences and fostering strong patient relationships
- Flexibility with roles as Dental Assisting/Sterilisation will be required and experience is preferred but not essential
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar customer service role within the healthcare industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Strong organisational abilities, with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to follow manuals and instructions
- A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively
- A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and the desire to provide exceptional patient care
