In this role, you'll work closely with the leadership team to shape the strategic plan for your portfolio, execute it, and see the results come to life. You will also lead and support a team of three HR professionals, giving you a direct influence on both people and safety outcomes across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster a high-performing, inclusive workplace culture that attracts, develops, and retains top talent.
  • Partner with managers to drive strategy, workforce planning, capability building, and performance outcomes.
  • Provide trusted HR advice and guidance to leaders and employees across the business.
  • Support leaders with project resourcing and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Identify, coordinate, and deliver training and development programs to enhance capability.
  • Contribute to key HR projects in collaboration with the broader HR team.
  • Build strong, effective relationships at all levels of the organisation to support business objectives.

About You

  • Passionate HR professional with a proven track record of translating strategy into tangible outcomes.
  • Broad HR generalist experience, underpinned by relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Strong understanding of Australian employment law, employee relations, and industrial relations.
  • Collaborative team player, able to align HR initiatives with business growth priorities.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and solutions-focused.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across South-East Queensland sites and occasionally to Sydney.
  • Previous experience in construction or blue-collar/trades environments is advantageous but not essential.
