The Opportunity:

Casual Educators play an essential part of our team at Explorers Surrey Hills- Stanley Terrace, providing support to our permanent team members and, of course, the children in our care.

As a Casual Educator, you will:

  • Collaborate with and support the team in delivering our Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum.
  • Provide quality care and education for the children in our service.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with both children and families.
  • Foster a nurturing and safe environment for all children.

Centre Highlights:

Conveniently located off Canterbury road and walking distance from the Surrey Hills Train Station (and plenty of shops), you'll find our beautiful early learning Centre. Our Centre is purpose-built with nine rooms, a state-of-the-art kitchen, landscaped outdoor play areas, interactive learning spaces and a central piazza for collaboration with children from across the Centre.

You will have:

  • An approved ACECQA qualification, or evidence of studying towards one
  • A demonstrated passion for children, their development, and a strong commitment to child safety
  • First Aid Training
  • Asthma and Anaphylaxis Training
  • Valid Working with Children Check (Employee) and Mandatory Reporting
  • Australian working rights – Visa/Passport
