Accounts Payable Officer

The opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for an outstanding Accounts Payable Officer to join our Accounts Payable team based at our Melbourne Head Office on a full time 12 month maximum term basis.

This position involves a high level of cooperation between the supplier, warehouses, and other staff members within the finance department to deliver excellence in service in all areas.

What you will do:

  • Process High Volume of Supplier's Invoice
  • Accurately saved of archived documents
  • Identifying Issues with invoices
  • Communicating effectively with various areas of the business
  • Ensuring that all charges are processed in a timely manner
  • Working closely with the AP team
  • Ensuring escalation procedures are followed in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring that supplier's queries are dealt with promptly.

What we are looking for:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Intermediate excel skills.
  • Previous experience in Accounts Payable or Customer Service will be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of warehousing, Kofax Total Agility and Orion system will also be beneficial.
