PeopleWise currently have an urgent need to fill various HR temporary roles North of the CBD. Full time hours or four days negotiable. Working with a large SA employer with various contracts up for grabs for commencement ASAP for 3 to 6 months with view to permanency. We seek HR Recruitment and HR Generalist professionals who are available immediately to commence short term.
These contracts will provide HR Recruitment Support and HR Coordination and Generalist Support and provide services to internal stakeholders across the business working with and reporting to HR Manager or Senior HR lead.
The positions… These positions will encompass the hands-on end to end Recruitment and HR Support. You will be required to support initially with a high level of recruitment needs to the team to help them during this peak period and while they recruit for a permanent person into the role. This is where you may have the opportunity to apply and be considered for a long-term perm full time role.
A number of other tasks may be associated with the day to day including; coordination of staff compliance material for HR and leadership teams, record keeping and HR coordination.
Day to day...
- Recruitment end to end including placement of advertising
- Manage the HR applicants during the recruitment lifecycle
- Phone screening and reference checking
- Interviewing and shortlisting of applicants
- Providing Hiring Managers with support and feedback
- Manage HR data and record keeping
- Provide business partnering in the recruitment space
- Ensure the company is compliant with recruitment matters
- Assist with the preparation and delivery of HR-related communications and documents.
Who we are looking for...
We are looking for someone with Recruitment Support, HR Coordination or HR Generalist experience who can demonstrate knowledge of the employee lifecycle and who has a genuine interest in HR and recruitment.
This person will need to demonstrate strong computer literacy, stakeholder relations, communication and administrative skills.

- Experience in manufacturing, retail or service industry advantage
- Recruitment experience end to end
- Experience with interviewing and shortlisting of applicants
- Excellent attention to detail to enable creation of high-quality documents
- Someone who can effectively manage relationships internally and externally
- Exceptional communication skills, both written & verbal
- Ability to maintain HR systems and processes
- High level administrative capabilities and organisational skills
- Strong computer literacy with experience in reporting and record keeping
