HR Generalist

This is a broad and hands-on role where you'll partner closely with leaders and employees to deliver HR initiatives that support both people and business success. You'll be involved in everything from recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations, learning & development, remuneration & benefits, and HR operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor and first point of contact for employees, ensuring fair and consistent HR support
  • Partner with leaders to deliver practical HR advice and solutions aligned to business goals.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and ensure an engaging onboarding experience.
  • Coach and guide managers on leadership, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Oversee HR processes including contracts, compliance, remuneration & benefits, and HR administration.
  • Support initiatives across learning & development, engagement, wellbeing, and recognition.
  • Ensure accuracy of HR records and people data in Oracle HCM, providing timely and precise inputs to local payrolls
  • Provide HR insights and reporting to support workforce planning and decision-making.
  • Assist with change management, org design, and succession planning.
  • Champion a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree - Human Resources, Business or related field
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation (Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, WHS).
  • 4 years progressive HR generalirst experience in industry with large scale, dynamic change initiatives
  • Multi-unit experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel. PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Exceptionally well-organised, detail oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal and project management skills preferred
  • Ability to work well under pressure of deadlines and competing priorities preferred
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality
