Apply your excellent administration skills to support the BYS Operations and Technology Team within a values-driven for purpose organization

The Administration Officer supports daily operational and administrative functions, including facilities and vehicle maintenance, and administrative support. They work collaboratively across the Operations and Technology team, providing flexible support to meet organizational needs.

You'll be a great candidate for this onsite role if you:

  • Can demonstrate experience in administrative or operational support roles, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hold a current QLD driver's license and is willing to travel between multiple sites as needed to support operational and administrative functions.
  • Are confident using business software and systems, such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and other digital platforms to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Can follow standard operating procedures, ensuring consistent, compliant practices in administration, procurement, and operational support.
  • Have strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to work both independently and within a team.

Given the work that we do there will be a few non-negotiables. You'll need to be able to have, or obtain prior to commencement:

  • A Working with Children Suitability Card [Blue Card].
  • A National Coordinated Criminal History Check [Police Check].
  • Evidence of vaccination, immunity, or medical exemption for the following preventable diseases - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella [Chicken Pox], and Pertussis [Whooping Cough].
