In this hands-on leadership role, you'll work closely with the Supervisor Turf to guide a dedicated team, ensuring our parks and open spaces are maintained to the highest standards. What You'll Be Doing

  • Delivering seasonal turf maintenance programs with precision and care.
  • Leading and supporting Turf Maintenance Officers in the field.
  • Acting as the go-to person for community members and contractors.
  • Monitoring turf health and ensuring service standards are consistently met.

Must-Haves

To thrive in this role, you'll need to bring a solid mix of technical know-how, leadership skills, and a genuine passion for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. The essentials include:

  • Proven experience in turf or parks maintenance operations.
  • Proficiency in operating turf care equipment (e.g. edgers, brush cutters, ride-on mowers, hand tools).
  • Certificate III in Horticulture, Sports Turf Management, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Current MR class driver's licence.
  • Current Basic Work Site Traffic Management Certificate.
  • Valid Construction Induction 'White' Card.
  • Pest Management and Chemical Application certification.
  • Current Provide First Aid Certificate.
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical.
