Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Brain Hub Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year
About the Opportunity

Are you a final-year Occupational Therapy student seeking casual/part-time work while finishing your degree—and keen to transition into a full-time OT role in 2026?

Brain Hub Kids, a leading paediatric neurodevelopment clinic, is offering a unique opportunity to join our team as an Allied Health Assistant (AHA). This role is designed to support your professional growth, giving you hands-on experience, structured training, and the chance to work with complex neurological and developmental cases.

About Us

At Brain Hub Kids, we specialise in paediatric neuro-rehabilitation and developmental care, helping children with:

  • ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, genetic disorders, cerebral palsy, and other complex developmental conditions.
  • Integrating primitive reflexes, improving brain connectivity, and applying advanced neuromodulation therapies.

Our approach is modelled on the pioneering work of Dr Robert Melillo, an internationally acclaimed clinician, researcher, and author. Families travel from across Australia and internationally to access our intensive rehabilitation programs.

You'll be joining a multi-disciplinary team of Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, and AHAs, led by a clinic director with a PhD in Vestibular Rehabilitation.

What You'll Do

As an Allied Health Assistant, you will:

  • Support patients with challenging physical and neurological conditions.
  • Learn and apply evidence-based neuro-rehabilitation protocols.
  • Use cutting-edge technology for assessments and therapy delivery.
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive, team-based environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training, clinical education, and professional development.
  • Assist with social media and online clinic content.
What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a final-year OT student (or other allied health degree) with strong clinical interest in paediatrics & neurology.
  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Be flexible with work hours (early starts, late finishes, and some Saturdays).
  • Hold (or be eligible for) a Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Be an Australian resident or hold full working rights (no sponsorship).
  • Previous AHA experience in an allied health clinic is highly regarded.
Benefits & Professional Growth
  • Structured induction and training program (on-site + online).
  • Ongoing mentorship from experienced clinicians.
  • Professional Indemnity insurance covered.
  • Access to advanced learning pathways, including post-graduate courses and seminars in Paediatric and Neuro-Rehab.
  • Supportive, friendly clinic environment with state-of-the-art technology.
