About your opportunityThis position will provide a clinical service in the discipline and liaise with other Hospital Departments as required ensuring the co-ordination and efficiency and costing effectiveness of Hospital services. You will also participate in and oversee quality assurance activities occurring in the Department and participate in teaching activities for Department staff.

- Salary range: $100.78 to $127.77 per hour (L18-L27)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
- Must have Registration as a Specialist Medical Practitioner in Australia and Fellowship with The Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
- Travel: This position may require the incumbent to work at other facilities within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
