About the role
Fiveways Pharmacy Taringa' is seeking a passionate and experienced Pharmacist to join our team in our Taringa, Queensland location. This is a casual role for EVERY SECOND SATURDAY that offers the flexibility to work around your schedule. As our Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our customers and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our pharmacy.
What you'll be doing
- Dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Providing patients with medication counselling and education to ensure safe and effective use of their medicines
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to coordinate patient care
- Maintaining thorough and up-to-date patient records
- Adhering to all relevant pharmaceutical regulations and guidelines
- Assisting with the management and supervision of pharmacy staff as required
- Actively participating in the continuous improvement of pharmacy operations and services
What we're looking for
- Current registration as a Pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Pharmacist in a community or hospital setting
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy practices, procedures, and relevant legislation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers, and the wider community
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to address complex pharmaceutical issues
- A commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment
