Pharmacist in Charge Opportunity

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to lead our team in a fast-paced community pharmacy setting. The ideal candidate will have experience as a sole pharmacist, managing a busy pharmacy environment, and overseeing pharmacy students.

The selected individual will be responsible for dispensing medication, checking Webster packs, and may be required to dispense Methadone (MethDA), Cannabis, and Methadone. Additionally, they will need to ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy, including staff supervision and inventory management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered Pharmacist
  • Experience in a fast-paced pharmacy environment
  • Sole Pharmacist experience
  • Experience with Webster packs, Cannabis, and Methadone preferred but not essential
  • Experience in compounding is a plus but not essential
