BACKGROUND & ROLE PURPOSE:

An established and growing boutique Corporate Finance Advisory firm requires a
Corporate Finance Analyst
to support and coordinate the day to day operations of the business. Due to client demand and growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen to support an entrepreneurial senior leadership team who provide M&A & Financial Advisory services (capital raising, M&A, trade sale / exits etc.) for high growth, dynamic & entrepreneurial clientele and family offices with strong exposure to cross border M&A (c. 50% of workflow)

You'll be supported by some great minds / Directors of which, have embedded process and created systems to help you transition into the role / company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Building detailed financial models and related financial analysis

Drafting information memorandums, pitch materials and other deal materials

Co-ordinate the due diligence process and data room management

Researching, compiling and presenting industry knowledge and market intelligence

Effectively managing and building relationships with clients and participating in client meetings

Other general office duties

Estimated activities to be split % wise as follows (Year 1);

% Project Management – including internal team and external client liaison

% Financial Modelling

% Presentation – creating/presenting

% Data orientated tasks (research, due diligence etc.) and office coordination/management

About You (skills & experience required)

ESSENTIAL

Degree qualified in either Accounting or Finance from tope tier university

A career background in Accounting or Corporate Finance or 'Big 4'

consulting

Project coordination and the abilities to handle a diverse range of tasks while staying organised

Preparation of required material (data rooms, IM's, financial models,

target lists, presentations) to support live deals

Financial Modelling (3-way models, historical analysis, Revenues and expenses forecasting, cashflow, DCF, multiples valuations)

Laser focus on detail without getting stuck in the detail

Tech savvy enough to work with data, create presentations efficiently, prepare research results etc.

An open mindset, a thirst for learning and trying new things, intrapreneurial, light-hearted and fun.

DESIRABLE

Previous Investment Banking or Tier 1 or 2 Consulting firms experience

SW packages such as MS Office
