Purpose;
As a Treasury Analyst, you will support the Treasury team's participation in securitisation funding and capital markets activities, as well as helping with any other ad-hoc projects within the broader Treasury & Finance teams.
Key Responsibilities;
In your role as the Treasury Analyst you will play an active role in maintaining transaction management capabilities, and will be responsible for daily/monthly trust management tasks including:
- Daily reporting and funding administration
- Preparation of monthly trust cashflow distribution and reporting
- Preparing securitisation trust reports for external distribution Preparing data and reporting for distribution to investors, rating agencies, and other external parties
- Trusts analysis to ensure compliance with pool parameters, eligibility criteria and covenants
- Managing funding and instructing cash movements
- On-going monitoring of portfolio parameters, triggers and compliance
- Completing data validation, reconciliation and testing resulting from system changes.
- Process Improvements & Projects
Another critical aspect of the role is to work closely with other members of the Trust Management team to establish and manage the integration of internal and external Treasury management systems which facilitates the set-up of new SPVs and other financial instruments, supports treasury analytics, and covenant monitoring and reporting.
Qualifications & Experience;
- Tertiary qualifications in commerce, finance, or related field.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Strong Excel skills, excellent analytical numerical reasoning and financial modelling skills
- Previous experience in a securitisation/trust management role within a non-bank financial institution is
