An exciting opportunity to step into a Head Coach role

In this full-time leadership role, you will help shape the future of our athletes in collaboration with our senior coaching team.

The Academy of Gymnastics is located in the heart of the Butler community in Perth's northern beaches. Modern 1050sqm purpose-built facility, fully equipped to cater for all gymnastics-based training. We are passionate about Competitive Gymnastics, Recreational Gymnastics, Tumbling, Kindy Gym, Ninja Parkour and more...The Academy is first and foremost a family club with a cafe and viewing area and an amazing community vibe.

Are you a strong leader with a drive for excellence? Do you have strong gymnastics coaching experience and hold a minimum Advanced WAG coaching accreditation?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with motivated athletes across all levels
  • Help design and implement training programs.
  • Ensure all coaches deliver safe, quality and stimulating programs tailored to individual skills and aspirations
  • Mentor coaches and support their professional development.
  • Membership retentions and targets

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • A positive 'can do' attitude with a growth mindset
  • Proven experience coaching gymnastics at a high level.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Good time management
  • The ability to motivate and inspire athletes and coaches of all ages.
  • Great organisational skills with attention to detail
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • 2-3 years experience in a leadership role preferred.
