As the Marketing Manager - Jobs To Be Done, you will manage our always-on communication stream within the customer trade plan as well as lead strategic brand building initiatives to deliver integrated programs of work that unlock customer and business growth.

You will partner and influence effectively across the organisation to deliver initiatives that drive share of wallet with non and lighter shoppers and win the hearts and minds of our existing & future customers to 'Drink Better - For Less'.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

  • Lead the always-on communication program and key brand campaigns for the Dan Murphy's customer trade plan; collaborating with various partners to deliver on our key customer jobs to be done and business priorities effectively across the customer experience.
  • With support from Senior Marketing Manager - Brand, develop the strategy, roadmap and necessary business casing to unlock customer behaviour for the customer jobs to be done.
  • Work alongside other Marketing Managers & Leads to ensure cross functional collaboration that enables our go-to market activations and marketing initiatives to deliver against identified customer jobs to be done & brand outcomes.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the customer and occasion driving shopping missions, championing and influencing throughout the organisation to deliver on our customer jobs to be done.
  • Partner with Analytics, Insights and Merchandise to develop and build a measurement framework for the customer jobs to be done, monitor performance and provide recommendations.
  • Manage end to end campaigns and brand building initiatives which includes working with Creative and Media agencies, Marketing Channel Leads and various stakeholders including Merchandise, Operations and Suppliers to deliver brand-led campaigns.
  • Champion the role of brand and help continue to embed our brand positioning across the business. Deliver a consistent tone of voice and implementation of our distinctive brand assets and style guide.
  • Support Senior Marketing Managers and Planning to develop a truly collaborative and efficient relationship with cross-functional teams like Merchandise, built on trust and accountability; including cadence and frameworks to facilitate efficiency, collaboration and a customer-first mindset.
  • Role Model ways of working in a matrix business and actively drive the culture of the marketing team.

What do we need from you

Now let's talk about you:

  • Minimum 7 years working in dedicated Marketing environment, ideally with a strong digital and content focus.
  • Previous experience in marketing (Campaign and Content) within retail sector with end to end campaign or project management.
  • Tertiary qualifications in business and/or marketing preferred.
  • Ability to interpret customer data that can be translated into compelling retail plans.
  • Strong understanding of cross-functional business planning, including category strategies, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
  • Ability to manage complex and ambiguous projects.
  • Proven experience in horizontal influencing for change.
  • Proven experience in customer experience particularly digital journeys.
