The Role
Our people are our business. They are our most important asset, and their experience, development and welfare is paramount. The People & Culture team works collaboratively to support, develop and build the capability of our people to ensure we provide quality advice and services to our clients.
It's an exciting time to join our People & Culture team, as we work on new initiatives and projects that will help shape our culture and drive engagement.
This role is an end-to-end role in Melbourne supporting our national Wealth & Funds teams, as well as the Melbourne office. Ideally, you'll have approximately 4-5 years of human resources experience with the last 1-2 at Manager level. You'll work closely with your client group to:
- Provide HR advice and generalist support on employee, performance development, policy interpretation and other generalist consultation;
- Work closely with the Learning & Development team to ensure our people have the right learning and development opportunities;
- Workforce planning for immediate and long term needs;
- Share people analytics and insights to shape the people agenda;
- Partner with business leaders to understand their people risks and opportunities and drive commercial people solutions through their business;
- Lead and drive People & Culture projects that will provide clarity for our people on career progression and capability building;
- Manage cyclical activities such as performance, remuneration, and talent management, and coach leaders as needed.
About You
In the People & Culture team we value positivity. As this is a stand alone role in Melbourne you must be self-motivated and willing to connect regularly with your Sydney colleagues virtually, as well as occasional travel. We also value a business partner who:

- Can work independently to find suitable people solutions for our stakeholders and their teams;
- Has experience in employment relations and can manage performance, conduct, and legislative matters;
- Can effectively manage people projects;
- Has a tertiary education in business, human resources or another relevant field;
- Has corporate experience in professional services, financial services or similar; and
- Enjoys working in a fun, cohesive and supportive team.
