Our Role

Join our Finance Business Partnering team in this newly created role as part of our updated legal operations support model. As a Working Capital Advisor, you will take ownership of client and matter administration across the lifecycle of our client's matters and be instrumental in ensuring timely and accurate matter openings, billings and file closures, ensuring a seamless process while helping to optimise our firm's financial performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Client and matter opening, ensuring relevant searches, conflict checks and other information have been undertaken
  • Ensuring client rates are setup correctly and efficiently
  • Monthly and ad hoc billing
  • Ensuring that all matter related creditors are identified and actioned promptly
  • Assisting the Credit Manager with collections
  • Matter closure
  • Coordinating and actioning any working capital adjustments including, bill reversals, write offs, transfers, ensuring any action is approved and documented per the agreed firm process
  • Preparation of client-related reports

If you are organised, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a collaborative approach this will be a great role for you to take your next step in your career within a professional services finance function.

Along with excellent attention to detail and an ability to multi-task, a high level of computer literacy is essential, particularly in Microsoft Office. Experience with legal practice management systems such as Aderant is highly desirable as is a background in finance or legal support roles, particularly within Property or Litigation.
