We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant to support our financial operations. This role works closely and reports to the Financial Controller and will support with finance operations, costing, inventory control and manufacturing performance analysis.

This is a permanent full-time role on-site in our newly renovated head office in Belrose.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, journal entries and reconciliations
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Partner with the Financial Controller to support inventory accounting and cost of goods sold analysis
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual closings
  • Prepare financial reports and support budgeting/forecasting activities
  • Work closely with operations and production teams and support the Financial Controller to understand financial impact of manufacturing processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (CPA preferred)
  • 3+ years of accounting experience in manufacturing or FMCG
  • Solid understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting
  • Strong Excel skills and data analysis capabilities
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and time management
