About the Role

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team at Re Con Building Group.

This role is hands-on, requiring you to take charge of subcontractor management, client communication, scheduling, material procurement, and progress reporting. You'll be the link between site, client, and management—ensuring smooth project delivery every step of the way.

We deliver projects across Sydney, with a strong focus in the Hills District and North Shore areas. Applicants must have their own trade vehicle and tools to perform the role effectively.

What You'll Do

● Organise and manage subcontractors & people, ensuring quality workmanship.

● Manage clients throughout the construction process with professionalism.

● Provide clear daily and weekly updates on project progress.

● Order materials and coordinate deliveries to align with schedules.

● Oversee budgets, variations, and compliance requirements.

● Ensure WHS standards and company quality systems are followed at all times.

● Anticipate challenges and provide solutions that keep projects moving forward.

Who We're Looking For

Must-Have:

● Proven project delivery skills (budgets, schedules, subcontractors, compliance).

● Applicants must have their own trade vehicle and tools to perform the role effectively.

Should-Haves:

● Experience with project management software (Wunderbuild a plus).

● Excellent leadership and communication skills with trades and clients.

Could-Haves:

● Background in sales/estimating (pricing, tenders).

● Formal qualifications in construction/project management.

● Carpentry skills / carpentry qualifications

● Experience managing multiple sites simultaneously

Won't-Haves:

● Poor attention to detail or sloppy with numbers.

● Overly rigid or unwilling to adapt when plans change.

● Weak communicator or "lone wolf" mindset.

● Negative attitude that damages team culture.
