About the role

ARC (The Australian Reinforcing Company)
, is currently seeking a Customer Service Officer to join our tight-knit team at the
Wollongong
 branch where you will be working closely with sales and operations to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

This position would be a suitable opportunity for someone looking to build on their existing customer and sales experience.

The hours for this role will be Monday to Friday covering from 6am – 4pm on a 38 hour work week.

Your responsibilities:

  • Providing outstanding customer service over the phone, email and at the front counter
  • Trouble shooting customer sales queries and answering any questions
  • Upselling and providing quotes to customers
  • Sales data entry, general invoicing, administration and purchasing

We are looking for someone who is customer service focused, has a high attention to detail and thrives working in a fast-paced environment.

You will also have:

  • Experience in a similar customer service role
  • The ability to build relationships with a diverse range of clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A can-do attitude and a strong desire to learn and develop your skillset
  • Team player and can multi-task well
