The Role

We are seeking a proactive and organised Internal Sales Assistant to join our national team. In this role, you will provide essential support to our Business Development Managers (BDMs) who are on the road recruiting apprentices and building client relationships. You'll be the key link between our field team and the office, ensuring smooth operations, accurate data management, and excellent client follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist BDMs with recruitment of apprentices and trainees
  • Book appointments for the BDM team and manage their calendars
  • Conduct phone-based prospecting and follow-ups with potential employers and candidates
  • Data entry and CRM updates to ensure accurate records of leads, contacts, and activity
  • Prepare and send documentation, proposals, and follow-up emails
  • Support general internal sales activities to achieve team targets
  • Provide a high level of customer service to both employers and apprentices

About You:

  • Previous experience in sales support, administration, or internal sales preferred
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills — both verbal and written
  • Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • A team player who can also work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Passionate about the training and education sector and helping people succeed
