We have a current opportunity for an
Organisational Design Specialist
, on a contract basis within the Defence sector. The role is based in
Canberra, ACT
. The contract is for an
initial 12 month period, with a 6 month extension option
.

Start: circa 03 November 2025

DSS Skill Set: Level 3 - Capacity Planning Services

The Design Sepcialist will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:

  • providing technical advice and expertise in the development of aviation safety policy, regulations and standards
  • supporting the development of underpinning frameworks for complex emerging technology risk mitigations
  • performing complex problem solving to support innovation within the emerging aviation technologies industry

Minimum mandatory requirements:

  • AGSVA Security clearance
  • Defence experience
  • Demonstrated experience in organisational design and workforce modelling in complex environments
  • Strong understanding of Defence capability frameworks, structural dependencies, and future force planning
  • Ability to synthesise workforce and capability data into organisational recommendations
  • High-level stakeholder engagement skills and experience working across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with Army modernisation programs and planning processes
