Shape the Future of the Australian Army's Tech Workforce
Join the Land C4 Capability Review (CCR) Team — a pivotal initiative ensuring that Army Signals personnel are strategically structured and ready for the complex, tech-driven battlefield of 2030 and beyond. You'll be part of a team driving the transformation of Defence communications through smart, evidence-based organisational design.

Your Mission
As an Organisational Design Specialist, you will:
- Lead the design of future-fit structures across the Land C4 domain.
- Shape decision-making through gap analyses, structural modelling, and clear, actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with a dynamic mix of Defence personnel, workforce planners, and strategic advisors.
- Influence the development of the 2026 Organisational Capability Review (OCR) and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural design and analysis aligned with future Army capabilities.
- Develop structural Courses of Action (COAs) and workforce blueprints.
- Engage stakeholders to validate assumptions and refine models.
- Provide unbiased, strategic insights into workforce alignment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Defence teams and partners.
What You Bring
Must-Have Skills:
- Experience in organisational design and workforce modelling, ideally in Defence or similarly complex environments.
- Knowledge of Defence capability frameworks and interdependencies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Strategic thinking with a talent for simplifying complex data.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience in strategic transformation initiatives.
- Ability to challenge assumptions and improve organisational effectiveness.
- Familiarity with Army modernisation or workforce planning processes.
