Role: IT Service Engineer – Level 2

Location: Office + Onsite

Type: Full-time + Some On-call

If you don't have 3–5 years in an MSP owning real client environments end-to-end, this won't fit. We need a hands-on Level 2 who can run onsite work confidently, support project delivery, steady networks and servers, and help clients maintain ISO 27001 alignment without cutting corners.


What you'll do
  • Deliver Level 2 onsite support: troubleshooting, installs, hardware swaps, and escalations that stay fixed.
  • Take ownership of project tasks—from network upgrades to cloud migrations and security uplift work.
  • Maintain and support server, switching, firewall, and wireless infrastructure.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments.
  • Manage L1 escalations and coordinate with vendors until resolution.
  • Develop, update, and manage client ISMS documentation aligned to ISO 27001.
  • Assist with ISO 27001 audit prep and participate in internal/external audits.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders and keep expectations realistic and steady.
  • Join the on-call roster every other month for after-hours support.

Must-haves (non-negotiable)
  • 3–5 years MSP experience in a Level 2 role.
  • Proven onsite support with strong troubleshooting and client-facing capability.
  • Solid experience with servers, networking, firewalls, and cloud platforms (Microsoft 365 & Google Workspace).
  • Demonstrated exposure to cyber security and ISO 27001 frameworks.
  • Ability to produce high-quality documentation (ISMS policies, procedures, runbooks).
  • Excellent English—written and verbal.
  • Strong stakeholder management and the ability to stay composed under pressure.

Nice-to-haves (bonus)
  • Exposure to EDR, SIEM, or the Microsoft 365 security stack.
  • PowerShell or Python scripting for automation.
  • Experience with change control, risk registers, or audit evidence preparation.
  • Certifications: ISO 27001 Implementer/Auditor, AZ-104, Sec+, or similar.
