Personal Trainer Manager (Casual Position)

Group Fitness Manager to design, lead, and grow our group fitness community for our brand-new facility opening in May.

Casual position hours per week) where you will be responsible for overseeing the group fitness program, creating an engaging timetable, leading a team of instructors, and running your own classes. You will also develop strategies to increase class attendance and promote the program through social media and community outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coach and Mentor PT Contractors: Support trainers with onboarding, professional development, and goal setting to help them grow successful businesses.
• Performance Support: Monitor PT activity and performance indicators (sessions, retention, lead follow-up) and provide feedback or resources to support improvement.
• Business Growth Guidance: Help PTs optimise their client acquisition, retention strategies, and upselling techniques.
• Onboarding & Induction: Guide new trainers through systems, expectations, and brand alignment to ensure a smooth start.
• Lead Management: Support PTs in effectively following up on new member leads and converting them into paying clients.
• Brand & Culture Champion: Promote a high-performance, team-oriented environment among trainers — within a contractor framework.
• Member Experience Oversight: Ensure PTs uphold high professional standards and deliver a consistent, positive experience for members.
• Liaison with Club Management: Act as the bridge between PTs and club leadership to ensure alignment on business goals and operational updates.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A valid ABN for your business.
• Certificate III in Fitness.
• CPR & First Aid certification (must be current).
• Carry Public Liability Insurance.
• Hold General Liability Insurance.
• Experience in Personal Trainer.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive attitude and a passion for helping others achieve their fitness goals.

Personal Trainer (Subcontractor)

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate as a subcontractor, creating your own hours and managing your own clientele under a rental agreement.
• Provide one-on-one personal training sessions.
• Help members achieve their health and fitness goals through tailored coaching and support.
• Conduct client check-ins and progress coaching.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A valid ABN for your business.
• Certificate III in Fitness.
• CPR & First Aid certification (must be current).
• Carry Public Liability Insurance.
• Hold General Liability Insurance.
• Professional appearance and excellent communication skills.
• Experience in building and managing client relationships.
• Up-to-date knowledge of fitness trends and industry best practices.
• Sound knowledge of strength and cardiovascular training and programming.
• Energy, positivity, and enthusiasm.
