JRM Hospitality Recruitment is seeking an experienced and dedicated Sous Chef to join a hatted high-end, fast-paced, and well-established premium venue in Sydney CBD. This is the perfect opportunity for a skilled culinary professional looking to take on more responsibility and make a real impact in a renowned kitchen.

About the Role:

  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to oversee day-to-day kitchen operations.
  • Work with premium-quality seasonal produce to create exceptional dishes.
  • Supervise and mentor the kitchen team, ensuring smooth food production.
  • Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs.
  • Always maintain kitchen health and safety standards.

About You:

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a similar high-end dining or premium venue environment, with experience managing medium to large teams.
  • Strong culinary knowledge and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • A genuine passion for the culinary industry and a positive, collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Full working rights in Australia are required.
