Kick start your career with Shadforth with an
Industrial Spray Painter
apprenticeship, based in the Sunshine Coast. You'll receive on-the-job practical learning, with mentoring, guidance and support from our experienced trades personnel while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and prime surfaces of heavy plant, vehicles and equipment
- Apply protective coatings using spray-painting techniques
- Learn to colour match and apply finishes to high standards
- Maintain tools and spray-painting equipment
- Follow safety procedures and quality control checks
- Work alongside experienced tradespeople in a purpose-built workshop
What We're Looking For:
- A keen eye for detail and pride in your work
- Enthusiasm to learn and develop hands-on skills
- Commitment to safety and teamwork
- Hold Current manual Driver Licence and own transport
- Construction Industry White Card
- Completed Year 12 - preferable
- Ability to work across 6 days - Monday to Saturday with 6.30am starts each day with the flexibility to regularly work overtime hours
- Ability to perform manual handling and repetitive tasks with some moderate to heavy lifting and reaching
